Pharmaceutical catalog
Product records the pharmacy can trust.
The pharmaceutical data lives in the inventory’s own product records. Each consistency rule is checked before saving, and each sensitive change keeps the previous version.

Illustrative values.
The module agent
You declare the data. Helena prepares the records.
Helena Duarte builds each product record from the data your pharmacy has declared and saves it only after the pharmacist checks it. When a rule rejects the save, she shows the missing field.

Builds the product record from what the pharmacy declares: DCB or CAS, regulatory class, Portaria 344/98 list and units
Sets up label name, synonyms and shelf life by dosage form
Converts quantities using the product’s factor and rejects the conversion when the factor is missing
Set up the sample raw material: DCB, special control, list C1, unit in grams and a 180-day shelf life in capsules.

Record ready with the data you provided. The density is missing to convert g to mL; without it, the conversion is rejected. Can you check and confirm?
Illustrative example.
In the product record
What compounding needs to know about each product.
DCB and CAS
Substances by Brazilian Common Name (DCB), with the CAS number in a verified format. A CAS number typed without separators is normalized.
Regulatory class
Classes such as antimicrobial and subject to special control, set up by the pharmacy itself and referenced by the product.
Portaria 344/98
The product indicates the controlled-substance list it belongs to. The lists are set up once and apply to all branches.
Pharmaceutical units
In addition to mass and volume, the units of measure in the master data include drops, IU, TRU, CFU and microglobules.
Pure substance
Where applicable, the product records the pure substance it corresponds to and the factor for that equivalence.
Label name and synonyms
Each product can have a label name and a list of synonyms that point to it. Synonym search is case-insensitive.
Dosage forms, capsules and packaging
The rules of the bench, recorded once.
Dosage forms, capsule types, packaging and shelf lives are set up with the rules the pharmacy uses, and apply to the branches you choose.
Dosage forms with calculation family and route of administration, by branch
Capsule types with size, internal volume and total volume in mL, and the default stock capsule
Rules recorded by the pharmacy: which capsule to use for each product, which packaging suits each dosage form and which packaging to use for a product in a given dosage form. The system checks these rules on saving; it does not choose the capsule or the packaging
Shelf life in days for each product in each dosage form
Material regime and lot, release and zero-quantity policies in each category
Unit conversion
Nothing is assumed.
The system converts a product’s quantity between different dimensions using the factors in its own record: mass and volume by density, mass and IU or TRU by the per-gram factor.
01
No factor, no conversion
When the factor is missing, the conversion is rejected. The system never assumes a factor of 1.
02
No hidden rounding
The calculation is done without rounding and without applying factors that are not in the product record.
03
Anything uncertain goes through the pharmacist
Factors from the previous system with an uncertain meaning are only entered after a recorded decision by the pharmacist.
Rejected before saving
Whatever breaks a master-data rule is rejected before saving.
When someone creates or changes a catalog record, the system checks the consistency rules and, if one fails, rejects the save with the message in the user’s language. This applies both on screen and through the import.
A controlled product requires a DCB
CAS only on a product without a DCB
Capsule only on a product under the capsule-shell regime
The default capsule for a type must be of that type
History
The previous version is kept.
Changes to factor, unit, regulatory flags, pure substance, category regime and policies, shelf life, label and capsule volume keep the previous version for reference, including when the record is deleted.
